The National Women’s Law Center fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society—working across the issues that are central to the lives of women and girls. We use the law in all its forms to change culture and drive solutions to the gender inequity that shapes our society and to break down the barriers that harm all of us—especially women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families. For nearly 50 years, we have been on the leading edge of every major legal and policy victory for women.

The Challenge

As NWLC's organizational and marketing goals evolved, they found their website no longer satisfied the requirements of their mission. A dated design, bloated content, outdated site architecture and administrative difficulties all combined to inhibit the site's effectiveness.

The Outcome

E11 conducted audience and user research to identify the key areas of focus to ensure NWLC's communications goals would be fulfilled by a new site. By focusing on usability, content structure and user flow, E11 was able to connect NWLC's mission directly to the needs of their website audience. Additional aesthetic and administrative upgrades ensure the new site will remain a contemporary and powerful marketing tool for years to come.
