The mission of NSTMF is to build inclusive STEM communities across the United States. Fundamental to these communities are the significant, inspirational connections we foster between the individuals who have received national recognition for excellence in STEM and today’s diverse generation of college and high school students.

The Challenge

As NSTMF's organizational goals evolved, their website had become encumbered with competing messages, slow performance, lack of administrative controls, and an outdated architecture and visual design.

The Outcome

E11 conducted audience research to determine the site viewer's pain points. By analyzing a segment of the nearly 2MM annual site users' behavior when interacting with the site, E11 was able to develop a UX strategy that synthesizes the NSTMF's business and marketing goals with needs of their users. A brand new design, information architecture, content governance scheme, technical and content based optimizations and new hosting with E11's dedicated WPEngine servers now allow the NSTMF site users to quickly navigate to the various sections of the site while providing the site administrators all the tools needed to manage a large, high visibility site.
