Better World Campaign

The UN Foundation’s flagship US–UN partnership site

The UN Foundation’s flagship US–UN partnership site

The Better World Campaign was launched in 1999 with support from Ted Turner as part of his historic $1 billion gift to support UN causes. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., BWC works to strengthen the partnership between the United States and the United Nations. E11 Group redesigned the organization’s online presence to match the evolution of its mission.

The Challenge

The Better World Campaign’s mission had evolved significantly since its founding, but the website had not kept pace. Outdated design and an unclear information architecture made it difficult for visitors to understand BWC’s current advocacy priorities, find policy resources, or engage with the organization’s work. The site needed to clearly communicate what BWC does today, not what it did a decade ago.

What We Did

Through new information architecture and a contemporary design, we clarified the site’s focus to provide easy access to policy information, advocacy resources, and engagement opportunities. The rebuild included state-of-the-art administrative controls so the BWC team can publish and update content without developer intervention, keeping the site current with the fast-moving UN policy landscape.
