The Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola is a Roman Catholic parish on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, administered by the Society of Jesus. E11 Group was engaged to create a digital experience that connects and educates parishioners and visitors about the church’s programming, liturgical life, and community events while driving membership sign-ups and donations.
The Challenge
The existing site was dated, hard to navigate, and completely disconnected from the richness of what the parish actually offers. Liturgical schedules, concert series, educational programs, and community events were buried or missing entirely. The church needed a platform that could serve as both a welcoming front door for visitors and a working tool for active parishioners managing their involvement.
What We Did
A complete architectural and design overhaul. The new site features a flexible content system that parish staff can manage without developer support, plus a full-featured ticketing and registration system for concerts, retreats, educational programs, and community events. The design reflects the architectural beauty of the church itself while keeping navigation intuitive and mobile-friendly.
